Shannon Armstrong
Director
Shannon is a career Intelligence analyst, leader and trainer with 25 years experience that spans law enforcement, security intelligence and defence spectrums. Shannon has real-world intelligence delivery and leadership experience in high-pressure, active counter-terrorism and threat to life investigations where his assessments have informed critical operational decision making.
As a trainer, Shannon developed the analytical competencies and assessment framework used to shape the next generation of intelligence analysts.
Shannon has lectured widely across Australia, and internationally on a variety of intelligence and incident management-related topics and held a position on the Board of Management of the Australian Institute of Professional lntelligence Officers (AIPIO) for five consecutive years (2010-2015).
Between 2011 and 2015 Shannon was the Intelligence Capability Advisor to the Australian and New Zealand Counter Terrorism Committee, responsible for the national training and professional development of Australia’s CT Intelligence Response capabilities – the Joint Intelligence Group.
Shannon holds a Bachelor of Education, a Masters in Terrorism Safety and Security and post graduate qualifications in Adult Vocational Training. In 2017 he was awarded the AIPIO individual award for his ‘distinguished contribution to the lntelligence Profession’.
Greg Wallace
Director
Greg is an experienced delivery practitioner, having spent in excess of 30 years operating in various project-based roles from hands on delivery through to program management. Greg has held senior management positions and advisory roles across many high-profile Government departments, including Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Attorney-General’s Department (AGD), Treasury and Department of Defence.
Greg is well-versed in the successful delivery of cross government projects. During his time in PM&C, Greg worked with the National Security Community and the G20, and in Treasury he held a senior management role within shared services, servicing a clientele of 20 agencies.
Greg has also been responsible for the successful establishment of portfolio, program and project management offices in the private sector and for a number of government agencies.
Greg holds a Master of Business Administration, majoring in project management, from Deakin University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering with first class honours from the University of Southern Queensland. Greg is a member of the Institute of Engineers and AIPM, and holds many vocational training qualifications, including MSP and PRINCE2 practitioner, P3O, Benefits Management, Design Thinking and Gateway certification.
Greg is currently working with the ACT Campus of the UNSW in the school of Business as a lecturer in project management as well as maintaining a project management practice.
Greg is the recipient of two Australia day awards and a community award for his contribution to Australia’s security community.
